“BOOM.” I was momentarily petrified at the shriek of the gargantuan beast that had collided into the rear of my car. The sound of crunching metal and shattering glass surrounded my stiff body. My stomach lurched as I was instantaneously thrown forward like a lifeless doll. I felt the sharp chunks of glass and the impact of my body being violently smashed around as if I was a delicate child. My body laid there for what seemed like hours, shocked by the adrenaline and exhilaration rushing through my heart. I screeched in excruciating and agonizing pain, as the the sharp rigid shards and slabs of glass and metal started to overcome the shock. Ears ringing in the flutter of chaos that had just occurred, I forced myself to escape, crawling through the debris and minefield of piercing objects. I could feel the scorching heat on my body, and a massive bonfire of epic proportions in the distance. Limping out of the car in torment, I slowly carried myself to safety. I glanced hazily around, observing my surroundings and trying to recollect what had happened. Off in the distance, a colossal four wheeled Chevy pickup had completely leveled the right half of the car. Huddled around my broken body were three bulky middle aged men with pulsating veins, who had rushed over with phones, with looks of disbelief and terror. They were humongous gorillas, examining my body, and lifting my helpless body out of the road. It had all happened in such a brief and alarming manner. My head, traumatized by the occurrence of these past minutes, slowly fell into the deep abyss of unconsciousness.
